Profile
Brian Curling is a multidisciplinary artist and educator specializing in the paper arts of print, book and drawing medias.  He has held academic positions in his native United States at the Cleveland Institute of Art, The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Murray State University.  In Cairo, Egypt he held a permanent position as Professor of Art at the American University in Cairo where he also served as Director of the al-Sharjah Art Gallery.  He has exhibited his artwork throughout the United States and Europe, in Egypt, and Japan and has been an invited artist in residence in Finland, France, Germany and America.  Brian is now working as a freelance artist and teaching art courses in Germany.
